Randolph Country's Novice Radio Club held its first Field Day this year at the Holly Ridge Campground. We operated at only 10 watts output into W4OP Magnetic Loops, LnR's EndFedz wire antennas and a home brew vertical designed & built by Justin, KN4EQA. Our total QSO count was 96 and was spread across SSB, CW, RTTY and PSK31 modes. All attending members participated in financing the event with water, sodas, ice, food, snacks and monetary contributions. Participating were Justin, KN4EQA; Tim, KM4WII; Larry, AE4LD, Freda, AB4CA, Mike, W1BFN, Weldon, KM4PNY & Ken, KG4LLQ.
