    ARRL Field Day 2019

    June 22 - Field Day, our annual test of operating under simulated emergency conditions; remote location, basic equipment, portable antennas, pizza, having fun, etc. Operations this year will be at Lake Lucas at 3158 Old Lexington Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205. In general we'll start setting up about 10:00 AM and operate until we get tired or they chase us out (cleanup at 7:00 PM, closes at dark).     NRC Field Day 2018 Report

    Randolph Country's Novice Radio Club held its first Field Day this year at the Holly Ridge Campground. We operated at only 10 watts output into W4OP Magnetic Loops, LnR's EndFedz wire antennas and a home brew vertical designed & built by Justin, KN4EQA. Our total QSO count was 96 and was spread across SSB, CW, RTTY and PSK31 modes. All attending members participated in financing the event with water, sodas, ice, food, snacks and monetary contributions. Participating were

    June 23-24 - Field Day, our annual test of operating under simulated emergency conditions; remote location, basic equipment, portable antennas, pizza, having fun, etc. Operations this year will be at Ramseur Lake Park just off of NC 22 approximately at 387 Wallace St, Franklinville NC 27248.     FIELD DAY - JUNE 2017

    Saturday, June 24 from around 10:00 AM - until... with some members planning to operate over night. At LNR Precision located at 1954 N. Fayetteville St.--Rand Plaza. This is the strip mall-type building just South of the intersection of Spero Road/Central Ave. This year we will be setup at our regular meeting location at LNR Precision for our participation in Field Day.
