03/26/19 Mtg - Building a 4 Element, 2M Yagi

6pm - Pre-meeting "dutch treat" meal is at P&J's Diner restaurant in Asheboro.

7pm - Meeting held at LnR Precision at 1954 N. Fayetteville Street, Asheboro. Meeting is open to ANYONE interested in amateur radio.

Meeting Business: New license takers, Finances, Old Business (if any), New Business: Field Day 2019, News from Club Members.

Meeting Program: Presentation by Roger Stout, N4RWS: "Building a 4 Element, 2 Meter Yagi" - At the last meeting, Roger showed the club an antenna he developed for 2 meters. The antenna was well received, so he will present a short program on antenna specs, what they mean, and show the tooling he built for making it easy and fool proof (no awkward measuring required). If there is interest we will make this a club build project. The antenna is a 4 element, 2 meter Yagi (fits in the backseat so it's portable or can be mounted permanently). And is broadband which means it can be used for SSB horizontally or for FM vertically.
