Novice Club Meeting - May 8, 2018

The Novice Radio Club will be meeting on Tuesday, May 8th at 6:30 pm at LnR Precision's shop at 1954 N. Fayetteville Street, Asheboro NC. May's meeting will be devoted to two purposes:

1. The finalization of the Fox Hunt exercise. The "Fox" will be in the area so it's our opportunity to find her! Utilizing a home-brew Yagi antenna which many of you built last year and your 2 meter hand-held radio we should all have a great experience. Be sure to bring your "Hand-held"!

2. Finalizing the Novice Radio Club's 2018 Field Day Plan. We're excited to discuss and finalize this year's Field Day program. We plan on two days of activities utilizing CW and Digital modes exclusively, operating both QRO and QRP power levels. The venue will be announced at the meeting.

All Amateur Radio operators are welcomed! Remember, the Novice Radio Club's purpose is to provide activities for fellow hams at our meetings; we're "radio active". We require no dues, just a willingness to participate in Amateur Radio, concentrating on CW & Digital modes exclusively. Ken, KG4LLQ
