March 27, 2018 Meeting


6pm. We will be eating at P&J's Diner on 2125 N Fayetteville St, Asheboro, NC 27203.

7pm. Kenneth Powell, KG4LLQ, will present on the true history of the modern-day Transceiver. Including why it was developed, which one was first, which one was the first transceiver kit, and why the first one wasn't a true transceiver! He will bring his Heathkit HW-16 "transceiver" for a "show n tell" and discuss the chart below (click to download). Meeting will be held at LnR Precision Factory, 1954 N Fayetteville St, Asheboro.
