11/26/19 Mtg - A Brief History of Amateur Radio

6pm - Pre-meeting "dutch treat" meal is at Zeko's II in Asheboro on 1328 N Fayetteville St.

7pm - Meeting held at the Asheboro/Randolph Library (downstairs room on the left) on 201 Worth Street, Asheboro. Meeting is open to ANYONE interested in amateur radio.

Meeting Business: Finances, Next license testing session, New or upgraded hams, New members, Brief news from club members, Old Business (if any), New Business: Monday Night Net

Meeting Program: Gary Meyers, KY0B, will bring us a very simple and basic history of amateur radio considering: When did it begin? Who did it? How have things changed over the years? What can we expect in the future? - and so on. It's a chance to reminisce and get a basic understanding of how the equipment we use today came about.


Meetings are open to ANYONE interested in amateur radio and are held on the 4th Tuesday of the month, unless noted.
